Enzonic Databases

Free database hosting that sleeps when you do.

Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, Valkey, FerretDB, libSQL, PocketBase and Supabase. Ten databases are free, each with daily backups, branches and a TLS hostname you can reach from anywhere.

No card. No trial that runs out.

Enzonic Databases: Databases

What the free tier includes

Free databases stop their compute after 5 minutes without connections and keep all of their data. The next connection wakes them; your client waits while it starts.

Nine open-source engines, one console

Every engine's licence allows hosting it as a service. That is why the MongoDB and Redis offers are FerretDB and Valkey: your existing drivers connect unchanged.

EngineNotesPort
PostgreSQL 17pgvector, PostGIS, pg_trgm, pg_stat_statements. Point-in-time restore on Pro and Business.5432
MySQL 8.4 LTSLong-term support release.3306
MariaDB 11.4MySQL-compatible.3306
Valkey 8Redis-compatible; the open-source continuation of Redis.6379
FerretDB 2Speaks the MongoDB wire protocol, stored on Postgres.27017
libSQL 0.24SQLite over HTTPS, the lightest option.443
PocketBase 0.40A backend in one service: database, auth, file storage and an admin dashboard.443
Supabase Postgres 17Postgres with the Supabase API, auth and Studio. Free accounts get one.5432, 443
ClickHouse 25.8Analytics. Pro and Business only.9440, 8443

Connect from anywhere.

Every database gets a hostname such as shop-prod-7k2m9q.db.enzonic.com with TLS, so it works from your laptop, a Discord bot, a game server plugin or any cloud. Postgres also has a -pooler hostname for serverless functions.

Copy a ready snippet for .env, psql, Node.js, Prisma, Python, Go or PHP. On Pro and Business, point your own hostname such as db.example.com at it.

Enzonic Databases: Connect

Supabase and PocketBase, ready to use.

Start a Supabase project with its API URL, keys and Studio, or a PocketBase backend with its dashboard, from the same console as your other databases. The free plan includes one Supabase project.

Supabase runs on 1 vCPU and 2 GB even on the free plan, so Studio stays responsive.

Enzonic Databases: Supabase

Branch a database like code.

A branch is a copy-on-write snapshot with its own hostname and password. It takes almost no space until you change data, so every pull request or migration test can get its own copy of real data.

Enzonic Databases: Branches

Backups you can restore.

Every database is backed up daily, and backups are stored away from the database host. Free keeps one day, Pro seven and Business thirty. Postgres on Pro and Business can restore to any point in that window as a new branch you check before switching.

Enzonic Databases: Backups

Inside the console

Run SQL against any branch from the console, with a read-only switch, and browse tables without installing a client.

API & coding tools

Create databases, branches and backups from the API, or let your AI coding tool set up Postgres and wire the connection string for you over MCP.

No CLI to install: any CI or terminal works with curl. The console's Developers page has ready-made setups for every tool.

Pricing

Ten databases are free. Pro adds always-on compute, point-in-time restore and a read replica; Business is for production workloads that need headroom. The same plan covers Deploy.

Where it runs

Deploy and Databases run on servers Enzonic operates itself, the same machines behind Enzonic game servers. At launch that is the United States. Europe and Asia come next; nothing runs there yet. Cloudflare only provides DNS, TLS and the network path in front of our servers.

Questions

Yes. 10 databases on any of the free engines, 3 GB each and 10 GB in total, with daily backups and branching. No card is needed and there is no trial period. Free accounts see ads in the console only, never in your database or your app.
