Running a Project Zomboid server

Default ports, the files you'll edit, and what to know before you start. On Enzonic, the panel shows the exact ports assigned to your server.

Default ports

  • 16261/UDP (game)
  • 16262/UDP (direct connection)

Minimum RAM on Enzonic: 2 GB

Configuration

  • Zomboid/Server/servertest.ini: server settings, Workshop items and mods
  • Zomboid/Server/servertest_SandboxVars.lua: world and zombie settings

Good to know

  • Mods need two entries in servertest.ini: the Workshop ID under WorkshopItems= and the mod ID under Mods=.
  • The default server name is servertest; if you rename it, the config file names change to match.
