Velocity

Сделайте его своим.

  • A 24/7 Velocity SMP for your friends that stays up while everyone sleeps.
  • A public community server with plugins, ranks and a whitelist, free to start.
  • A creative or testing world for builds, datapacks and pre-release experiments.
  • A staging copy of your network to trial Velocity updates before going live.

Friends SMP

Velocity on the free tier comfortably runs 5-15 players with a few plugins or mods.

Community server

Add 2-6 GB extra RAM for 30+ players, heavy plugin stacks and big farms.

Network node

Run Velocity behind a Velocity proxy as one wing of a multi-server network.

Running a Velocity server

Default ports, the files you'll edit, and what to know before you start. On Enzonic, the panel shows the exact ports assigned to your server.

Default ports

  • 25577/TCP (default bind)

Minimum RAM on Enzonic: 1 GB

Configuration

  • velocity.toml: listen address, backend servers, forwarding mode
  • forwarding.secret: shared secret for modern forwarding

Good to know

  • Velocity is a proxy: players join it, and it sends them to your backend servers.
  • Use modern forwarding. On Paper backends, enable the Velocity section in config/paper-global.yml with the same secret, and set online-mode=false in each backend's server.properties.
  • Backends shouldn't be reachable directly from the internet, or players could bypass the proxy's authentication.
