# Enzonic free tier

> 3.5 GB RAM, 200% CPU, 5 GB SSD, and one free server per account, subject to capacity. Free Minecraft servers hibernate after 15 idle minutes and wake when a player joins. No credit card required.

## Free Minecraft server
- 3.5 GB RAM, 200% CPU (two cores), 5 GB SSD.
- One free server per account, subject to available capacity. No payment method required.
- SFTP and web file manager, mod and plugin installers, backups, Cloudflare Spectrum DDoS protection.

## Online 24/7 when it counts
Free servers rest when empty and start on their own when someone connects:
1. After 15 minutes with nobody online, the server hibernates. The address stays live.
2. A player connects and lands in a waiting lobby right away while the world starts.
3. In about 20 seconds the server is online and the player is moved into the world automatically. No panel clicks.

## Free bots, runtimes and apps
- Discord bots, Node.js and Python: 512 MB RAM, 50% CPU, 10 GB SSD, always on.
- Supported open-source apps: 812 MB RAM, 100% CPU, 10 GB SSD.
- Multiplayer games other than Minecraft need a paid plan.

## How it is funded
Advertising and optional paid plans help fund the free tier. We run self-hosted nodes and use VPS capacity when needed. You can read the cost breakdown on our pricing story page.
