Running a Vanilla Bedrock server

Default ports, the files you'll edit, and what to know before you start. On Enzonic, the panel shows the exact ports assigned to your server.

Configuration

  • server.properties: game mode, difficulty, player limit, level name
  • allowlist.json: players allowed to join when the allow list is on
  • permissions.json: operator and member roles

Good to know

  • This is Mojang's Bedrock Dedicated Server for phones, consoles and Windows players. It doesn't run Java plugins or mods; it uses add-ons (behavior and resource packs).
  • Console players can't type a custom server address by default, so many Bedrock communities share the address for players on PC and mobile first.
  • To let Java and Bedrock players share one world, run a Java server with GeyserMC instead.
