Forge Minecraft

Fes-lo teu.

  • A 24/7 Forge Minecraft SMP for your friends that stays up while everyone sleeps.
  • A public community server with plugins, ranks and a whitelist, free to start.
  • A creative or testing world for builds, datapacks and pre-release experiments.
  • A staging copy of your network to trial Forge Minecraft updates before going live.

Friends SMP

Forge Minecraft on the free tier comfortably runs 5-15 players with a few plugins or mods.

Community server

Add 2-6 GB extra RAM for 30+ players, heavy plugin stacks and big farms.

Network node

Run Forge Minecraft behind a Velocity proxy as one wing of a multi-server network.

Running a Forge Minecraft server

Default ports, the files you'll edit, and what to know before you start. On Enzonic, the panel shows the exact ports assigned to your server.

Default ports

  • 25565/TCP (Java Edition)

Minimum RAM on Enzonic: 2 GB

Configuration

  • server.properties: core server settings
  • mods/: Forge mods (.jar)
  • config/ and world/serverconfig/: mod settings

Good to know

  • The Minecraft and Forge versions on the server must match what players use, along with the same mod list for content mods.
  • Modpacks usually ship a server pack. Upload its contents rather than the client files, which include client-only mods that can crash a server.
  • Large modpacks need more memory than vanilla; check the pack's recommended RAM before choosing a plan.
